Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Tysoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timbe Suomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tysoon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tysoon tries to land a leg kick but Suomi saw it coming and moves away.
Tysoon throws a leg kick that misses.

Suomi scores a takedown into full mount!
Tysoon tries to lock up and control but Suomi gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Suomi throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Suomi is trying to take his opponent's back.

Suomi wants to finish this one by submission but Tysoon is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Suomi.
Suomi avoids the attempt from Tysoon to control.

Suomi looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Suomi misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Suomi sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Suomi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tysoon is looking to escape.

Suomi looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Suomi throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Tysoon tries to buck Suomi off but he can't manage it.
The referee warns Tysoon that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Suomi lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Tysoon can't escape the position.
Suomi putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Suomi scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Suomi with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Suomi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tysoon is looking to escape.

Tysoon could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Suomi pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Tysoon is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Suomi wants to take Tysoon's back here but Tysoon is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Suomi goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Tysoon is on top in guard.
Suomi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Suomi is trying to keep Tysoon in close.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Suomi throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Suomi had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tysoon is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Suomi Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tysoon's back instead.
Tysoon looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Tysoon wants to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Timbe Suomi dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Tysoon connects with a high kick.

It looks like Timbe Suomi has been cut.

Suomi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Suomi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tysoon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Suomi advances to half guard.
Suomi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Suomi is pressing down on Tysoon's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tysoon is holding on for now.
Suomi is looking to take a break and control but Tysoon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Suomi works his foot free and advances to mount.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Suomi has control of Tysoon's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Tysoon regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Suomi takes Tysoon's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Tysoon is in trouble.

Suomi is working for a rear naked choke. Tysoon is not defending it well and Suomi has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Tysoon refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Tysoon's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
