The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones cracks Krnacova with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Jones leaves Krnacova with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jones fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Krnacova looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target.
Krnacova misses with a takedown
and Jones counters with a nice body shot.
Decent striking displayed by Jones there.
Krnacova fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felix Krnacova. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Krnacova looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jones cracks Krnacova with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Jones has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Krnacova to stand back up!

and Jones counters with a crisp right that sends Krnacova to the canvas! Jones follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

A determined Colt Jones didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
