Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rex Hunt (ranked 2786 p4p, 3223 weight class) and Chop Douglas (ranked 312 p4p, 350 weight class). Rex Hunt is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hunt goes for a double leg but Douglas avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Douglas continues to drive forward.

Hunt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Douglas tries to avoid it but Hunt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Douglas to the ground. Douglas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hunt has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Douglas is on him like a limpet, forcing Hunt back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hunt takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
