Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Brock Hardman!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aalto pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Hardman back to the cage. Aalto follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Aalto shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hardman is trying to defend but Aalto finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Hardman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Aalto is working away from the top position though.
Aalto wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hardman keeps working.
Aalto is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hardman throws a series of punches but Aalto moves out of range.

Aalto misses with a body kick.
A little jabbing left from Hardman on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Hardman has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Hardman throws an overhand right that lands on Aalto's shoulder, as Aalto tries to avoid the shot.
Aalto shoots for a double leg takedown but Hardman sprawls well. He's pushed Aalto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Aalto takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Aalto is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hardman's half guard.
Hardman is staying active underneath Aalto, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hardman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aalto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aalto wants to control but Hardman is keeping him busy.
Aalto is looking to advance position but Hardman won't allow it.
Aalto thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Aalto tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hardman knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

That's time! Aalto's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

As Hardman tries to get set, Aalto tries to push him back and clinch up but Hardman manages to avoid the attempt.

Aalto uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hardman.
Aalto shoots in for a takedown but Hardman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hardman connects with a looping right hand.
Aalto will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Aalto went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Aalto instigates a clinch.
Aalto keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hardman's efforts to push away.
Hardman wants a takedown but no success here.

Hardman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Aalto fails with the takedown
enabling Hardman to counter with a crisp jab.

Aalto lands a big head kick that sends Hardman tumbling to the mat! Aalto takes a step backwards and waves Hardman back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Brock Hardman has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hardman closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Aalto! Hardman dives in looking to finish! Aalto is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
