And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson tries a head kick but it misses.
Mars Jr throws a big shot that misses.
Mars Jr stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Mars Jr leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
An attempted straight right counter from Mars Jr misses the target.
Mars Jr looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mars Jr cracks Johnson with a good jab.
It looks like Josh Johnson has been cut.
Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Johnson walks into a stiff left hand from Mars Jr.
Mars Jr closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Mars Jr throws a lazy right hand but Johnson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mars Jr circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mars Jr misses with an uppercut. Johnson saw that one coming.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
No luck for Johnson with that takedown attempt.
Johnson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mars Jr to score with a decent uppercut.

A jab lands there for Mars Jr.
Mars Jr comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mars Jr looks to land a right hand but Johnson moved out of range.
Johnson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Johnson moves away from the strike by Mars Jr.
Mars Jr avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mars Jr throws an off balance right hand
and Johnson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mars Jr lands with a nice body punch.
Mars Jr's jab looks to have found its range, popping Johnson under the eye.
Johnson is looking to clinch but Mars Jr is avoiding it.
Johnson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Johnson looks winded!
Mars Jr bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Johnson's head.
Mars Jr lands a jab to the head.
Johnson is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mars Jr pounces like a tiger and cracks Johnson with a vicious hook! Johnson is down but not out! Mars Jr follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
