Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Char Clip Snit (ranked 4332 p4p, 5877 weight class) and Kofi Ousmane (ranked 0 p4p, 638 weight class). The key to victory for Char Clip Snit has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Clip Snit.

Ousmane looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ousmane content to control rather than advance.
Clip Snit keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ousmane moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Clip Snit cracks Ousmane with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Clip Snit is looking to counter punch.
Ousmane looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Kofi Ousmane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ousmane tries for a takedown but Clip Snit sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ousmane decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A big left from Clip Snit misses.
Ousmane's coach down at Island Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ousmane's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Ousmane moves out of range of the strikes.

Ousmane shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ousmane showed some decent athleticism there.
Ousmane is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Ousmane working over Clip Snit with some ground and pound. Clip Snit looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Char Clip Snit dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Ousmane gets the takedown into side control.
Clip Snit wants to get back to his feet but Ousmane is dominant here and he's now got Clip Snit's back!
Ousmane slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Ousmane is working for a rear naked choke. Clip Snit is not defending it well and Ousmane has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Clip Snit refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Clip Snit's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kofi Ousmane!
