Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Stark (ranked 239 p4p, 687 weight class) and Anthony Romeo (ranked 39 p4p, 104 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anthony Romeo!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Romeo counters with a left and a right that stings Stark.

We've been hearing reports that Stark has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Tony Stark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Romeo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Stark bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Stark bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
