Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Coryatt (ranked 554 p4p, 1089 weight class) and Kotaro Kikuta (ranked 83 p4p, 149 weight class). Coryatt comes to the cage accompanied by Slim Thug - Welcome 2 Houston. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Coryatt misses the target.
Kikuta throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kikuta throws a lazy right hand but Coryatt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Coryatt missing with a left hand there. Kikuta was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Coryatt lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kikuta backs up against the cage.
Coryatt dips to his left and cracks Kikuta with an uppercut!
Coryatt explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Coryatt scores with a sloppy right hand. Kikuta should have avoided that one.
Kikuta throws a shot from downtown. Coryatt moves away and avoids it.
Kikuta moves out of range as Coryatt strikes.
Good shot there by Kikuta.

A nice leg kick from Coryatt, right into the meat of the thigh.
Coryatt looks to throw the jab but Kikuta is out of range.
Kikuta feints a counter leg kick.
Coryatt moves out of range of the strikes.
Coryatt keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A counter left hand to the body from Coryatt misses its target.
Coryatt looks to land a left hand but Kikuta moved out of range nicely.
Kotaro Kikuta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Coryatt lands a lovely overhand right.

Oooooh!!! Kikuta has knocked Coryatt down with a huge combo! Kikuta steps away and waves a wobbly Coryatt back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Coryatt is rocked!
Kikuta throws a front kick aimed at Coryatt's knee but Coryatt avoids it well.
Oh Coryatt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
OH! Coryatt has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Kikuta smells blood and charges in for the finish! Kikuta unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Coryatt sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
