Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Li Xiaodong (ranked 360 p4p, 598 weight class) and Ryoto Takahashi (ranked 22 p4p, 36 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Li Xiaodong!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryoto Takahashi!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takahashi stuns Xiaodong with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Takahashi throws a push kick but Xiaodong slaps the foot to one side.
Takahashi connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Takahashi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

A very excited looking Ryoto Takahashi made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
