Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pier Oka (ranked 6711 p4p, 5338 weight class) and Jack Torrance (ranked 195 p4p, 171 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oka closes the distance and clinches.
Torrance creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Oka's defenses.

It looks like Pier Oka has been cut.
A nice right hand lands inside from Torrance.
Oka avoiding damage.

Oka manages to break the clinch.
Oka misses with a jab, cross combination.
Oka lands a slapping body shot.

Oka moves into the clinch successfully.
Oka blocks an elbow strike.
Torrance lands an elbow inside.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Oka creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Torrance misses with an elbow strike.
Torrance is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Oka is defending well for now.

Oka escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Torrance counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Pier Oka's cut is getting worse.
Oka scores with a jab. Torrance acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Oka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Torrance throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Torrance throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Oka.
Oka steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Torrance is out on his feet! Oka sets himself and nearly takes Torrance's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
