Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Armando!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson misses with the combination.
Armando appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Anderson misses the shot to the body.
Anderson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Armando takes one on the button.
Armando buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Anderson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Anderson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Anderson misses with a combination
and Armando counters with a stiff right hand.
Anderson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Anderson misses with a body punch
and Armando cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Tony Anderson has been cut.

Anderson takes the fight into the clinch.
Anderson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Anderson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Armando has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Anderson is trying to keep an underhook but Armando manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Anderson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Anderson tries to get out of the position.

Armando stops Anderson from getting back to his feet.
Armando seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Armando is looking for a kimura but Anderson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Armando to get the leverage.
Still in half guard, Armando seems content to control.
Armando prevents Anderson from standing back up.
Armando tries to pass to full mount but Anderson defends it.
Anderson tries to roll over but Armando keeps him under control.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Armando working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Armando scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Armando is taking a breather. Anderson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Anderson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Anderson is trying to get back to full guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Armando in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Armando's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Armando stops Anderson from getting back to his feet.
Armando performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Armando tries to pass to full mount but Anderson defends it.

Armando is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Armando shoots in for a double leg but Anderson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Armando drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Anderson is trying to improve his position.

Armando is working to tighten his grip on Anderson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Anderson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Armando is really squeezing tight and eventually Anderson passes out! Armando breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
