Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randy Knight (ranked 4732 p4p, 4735 weight class) and Daron Acemoglu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight tries to clinch but Acemoglu moves out of range.

Knight shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Acemoglu looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Acemoglu in particular looking to stall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Knight is looking to control Acemoglu's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Knight avoid being mounted?
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Acemoglu connects with a nice short shot to Knight's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Acemoglu looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Knight with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Acemoglu is landing with some decent strikes but Knight is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
