The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wexell misses with an uppercut

and Dead Ii counters by moving into the clinch.
Dead Ii is working for takedown but Wexell is calmly controlling the position for now.
Wexell has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dead Ii avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dead Ii.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Dead Ii is pushing Wexell up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Dead Ii wants a takedown.
Dead Ii is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Better Dead Ii. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Dead Ii pulls guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wexell cracks Dead Ii with a solid left hand.

Dead Ii parries the strikes from Wexell easily there. Wexell is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Dead Ii to escape.
Dead Ii takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Oh Dead Ii is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wexell lands a huge shot from side control! Dead Ii is out cold! This one is all over!
