Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Logic (ranked 4807 p4p, 4806 weight class) and Torraro Fisticuffs (ranked 550 p4p, 545 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Logic fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Logic throws the left hand but Fisticuffs avoids the punch easily.
Logic misses with a shot to the body
and Fisticuffs counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Joey Logic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Logic takes one to the chin there.
Logic takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Logic gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Logic moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Fisticuffs goes down! Can Logic finish him!?

Fisticuffs is rocked!

It looks like Torraro Fisticuffs has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Logic with a flurry of punches that miss.
Logic will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Logic is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Logic slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Logic just content to control the position.

Logic scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Fisticuffs to see if he's OK.

An elbow from Logic crashes against the mat.
The referee asks Logic politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Logic prefers to stall for the moment though.
Logic has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fisticuffs can do anything to dispel that myth.
Logic cracks Fisticuffs with a big right hand but Fisticuffs just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The referee asks Logic politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Logic prefers to stall for the moment though.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Good exchange - Fisticuffs coming out on top.
Fisticuffs scores with the left hand. Logic knows he should have avoided that one.
Fisticuffs connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Logic takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Fisticuffs fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Logic looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A jab from Fisticuffs does it's job there.

Logic drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Fisticuffs cracks Logic with a right hand to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Logic cracks Fisticuffs with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Logic shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Logic fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fisticuffs avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joey Logic. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fisticuffs lands a right hook to the body.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Fisticuffs lands a nice hook to Logic's body. Logic takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Logic throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fisticuffs is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Logic closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Logic lands in his opponent's guard.
Logic prevents Fisticuffs from getting back to his feet.
Logic engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Logic's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Logic has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
