Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Warren Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JoeSon Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bang Your Head. Warren Adams has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Warren Adams!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, JoeSon Do!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams misses with a hook.
Do throws an overhand right that lands on Adams's shoulder, as Adams tries to avoid the shot.
Adams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Adams is on top in guard.

Do is trying to control the position but Adams postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Adams is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Adams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Do swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Adams thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Do is looking to reverse the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Adams closes the distance and clinches up with Do, looking for a takedown. Adams pushes Do against the cage but Do circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Adams feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Adams misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Adams is going olschool here, as he tries to force Do to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Do shrugs it off.

Adams is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Do has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Do!

Adams had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Do is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Adams Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Do's back instead.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Warren Adams.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Adams, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
