Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Charles Bonesteel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CJ Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bonesteel comes to the cage accompanied by Battery. Charles Bonesteel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bonesteel shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Bonesteel trying to mount his opponent but Turner defends it.
Turner is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bonesteel's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bonesteel's back!
Bonesteel might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
You can see the frustration on Bonesteel's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Bonesteel breaks Turner's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Turner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bonesteel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Bonesteel throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Turner misses with a series of wild punches.
Horrible takedown by Turner or perhaps it was just good defense by Bonesteel which made him look bad.

Turner will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Turner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bonesteel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Turner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Turner connects with a nice short shot to Bonesteel's temple.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Turner working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Turner must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
