Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Knapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knapp comes into the arena with Chevelle - The Red blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Peter Knapp has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez staying out of range there.
Knapp keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sanchez.

Sanchez takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Sanchez slips a straight right by Knapp.
Knapp cracks Sanchez with an uppercut from hell and Sanchez crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Knapp's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Sanchez wants to stand but Knapp is controlling the position.

Knapp throws out a loose jab but Sanchez uses good head movement to avoid it.
Knapp moves into range and connects with a jab.

It looks like Paul Sanchez has been cut.
Knapp throws an overhand right that lands on Sanchez's shoulder, as Sanchez tries to avoid the shot.
Sanchez throws a combination that misses
and Knapp counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Sanchez off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Knapp follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Sanchez was out before he hit the floor.
