Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Name takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Name throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Algiorno's waist but Algiorno gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Name off to one side.
Abi Algiorno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Name tries to clinch but Algiorno is having none of it.
Name closes this distance looking for a takedown but Algiorno circles away.
Name's coach down at EFC Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Name's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Name jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Algiorno walks away with a smile on his face. Name gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Name counters by clinching up.

Name drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Name jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
