The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Santiago checks a leg kick.
Jab, jab by Ringnes - just one landing.
Ringnes tests Santiago's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ringnes .
Ringnes connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Santiago's hands.
Ringnes staying out of range there.
Santiago rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ringnes moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ringnes loads up on a big right hand but Santiago slips the punch.
Santiago lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Santiago misses with a hook.
A low kick lands for Ringnes .
Santiago takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ringnes scores with a jab to the head.
Ringnes looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ringnes throws a solid leg kick but Santiago takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ringnes .
Ringnes swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Santiago cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ringnes on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Ringnes is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
