Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hukkelberry Flint (ranked 1435 p4p, 2188 weight class) and Caio Peieira (ranked 157 p4p, 230 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Flint might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Farmer Song. The key to victory for Hukkelberry Flint has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Caio Peieira!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flint swats away the attempt to clinch by Peieira.
Peieira's jab looks to have found its range, popping Flint under the eye.
Peieira tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Peieira closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Peieira lands in his opponent's guard.
Flint is trying to keep Peieira in close.
Flint is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Flint seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Flint is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Peieira passes Flint's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Peieira is working for a kimura but Flint is defending it quite comfortably.
Peieira maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Flint could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Peieira has cracked it and Flint is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Peieira!
