PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Albert Lin (ranked 5046 p4p, 3132 weight class) and Asad Zane (ranked 489 p4p, 333 weight class). Lin comes to the cage accompanied by Sister's Noise. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lin lands with a nice combination. Zane backs away looking to recover.
Zane shoots in looking for a takedown but Lin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Zane's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Zane shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lin napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Zane cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Zane is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lin to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lin shrugs it off.

Lin tries to improve his position but Zane has taken his back! Zane has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Lin tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Zane pushes Lin away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
