Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Young's waist but Young gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Boxer off to one side.

Boxer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Young circles away.
Boxer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Young swivels and escapes.

Boxer decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Young cracks Boxer with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Boxer clinches with his opponent.
Young is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Young is trying to pull guard but Boxer has him pressed against the cage.
Boxer tries for a takedown but Young manages to get underhooks.

Boxer breaks the clinch.
Boxer keeps the fight on the outside.
Boxer lands with a kick to the temple. Young shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Boxer shoots in looking for a takedown but Young manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boxer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

It looks like Young has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Boxer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Boxer drops down looking for an ankle pick but Young pulls his leg out and moves away.
Boxer takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Young moves in looking to clinch but Boxer pushes him off.
Boxer feints the counter takedown.
Young stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Young defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Boxer.
A decent looking cross lands there for Young.
Young scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Boxer is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Boxer takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Boxer is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Boxer is pushing Young up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Boxer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chris Young is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Young bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Boxer's head backwards.
Young throws a hook but Boxer avoids it easily.

Young has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Boxer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Young has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Young is working for takedown but Boxer is calmly controlling the position for now.

Boxer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Young avoids it really well and circles away.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Boxer moves into range and clinches up with Young.

Boxer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Boxer shoots in looking for a takedown but Young manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boxer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Boxer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

A little feinted left hand from Young on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Boxer moves forwards but Young connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Boxer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Young clobbers Boxer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

The referee is keeping an eye on Boxer - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Young makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Chris Young is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
