The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tkachev shoots in but Svenson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Svenson scores with a kick to the midsection.
Some wild striking there from Svenson.
Tkachev has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Svenson.
Tkachev throws a jab when Svenson was well out of range.
Svenson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tkachev has his takedown stuffed
and Svenson counters with a two punch combo.
A solid leg kick lands there for Svenson.
Svenson scores with a hook to the body. Tkachev takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
