Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Will Wrecks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Elo Veena!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veena rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Wrecks cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Veena drops his shoulder and cracks Wrecks with a huge uppercut! Wrecks goes down! Can Veena finish him?
It looks like Will Wrecks has been cut.
Wrecks will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Veena won't allow Wrecks to sweep him here.
Wrecks seems keen to control Veena's posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Veena gets to his feet - Wrecks follows without any prompting.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Veena misses with a looping right.
It looked like Wrecks wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Veena looks to land a right hand but Wrecks moved out of range.
Veena rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Wrecks counters with a nice kick to the body.
Veena swings widly with a right hand
and Wrecks counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Veena throws a poor cross that misses
and Wrecks scores with a counter punch that sends Veena to the canvas! Wrecks smells blood - he's punishing Veena with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Veena has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Will Wrecks!
