PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Molokai Built (ranked 4608 p4p, 20639 weight class) and KarateO Masuta (ranked 107 p4p, 153 weight class). Masuta has chosen We Can Dance as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Masuta slips a jab and a cross from Built.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Built lands a head kick!
A head kick misses from Built.
Masuta throws out a counter right but Built avoids it with no problem.

Built went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Built lands with a nice combination. Masuta backs away looking to recover.

Built throws a right hand that Masuta ducks under and follows up with a left that Masuta also avoids with ease.

Built will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Masuta takes a kick to the side of the head.
Built gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

and Built counters with a left and a right that stings Masuta .

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Built shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Masuta eats them both and turns towards Built to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The fighters circling - Masuta throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
It looked like Built was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Masuta tries a quick counter leg kick but Built is wise to it.

Built takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Built walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Masuta ! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
