Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Greg Hammer!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, David Schapiro and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barroso slips under a jab.
Barroso slips a straight right by Hammer.
Hammer looks to throw the jab but Barroso is out of range.

Barroso shoots in and gets a takedown into Hammer's guard.
Barroso tries to free his leg and advance position but Hammer is retaining full guard.
Hammer is looking to stand up but Barroso isn't so interested in that idea.

Hammer is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammer pulls Barroso in to control the position.

Barroso thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Hammer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Barroso postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hammer tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Barroso trying to control but Hammer is working from the bottom.
Barroso loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Barroso wants to pass the guard but Hammer is keeping the position.
Barroso throws a big right hand that misses.
Barroso has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Hammer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Barroso stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hammer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Barroso is looking to advance position but Hammer has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hammer lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Barroso hang on?
Hammer has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Barroso's face.
Barroso tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Hammer is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Barroso on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Barroso tries to get out of the position.
Hammer prevents Barroso from getting the reversal.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammer lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Hammer scoring with strikes but Barroso is staying in there.

Barroso is rocked!
Barroso looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Hammer connects with a bit shot that sees Barroso covering up! More strikes from Hammer and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Hammer is our winner by TKO!
