PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Francis The Predator (ranked 6491 p4p, 6337 weight class) and Derrick Thomas (ranked 214 p4p, 193 weight class). The Predator comes to the ring accompanied by The predator tribute. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Francis The Predator!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Derrick Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Predator with a jab.
Thomas with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Thomas moves out of range as The Predator strikes.
Thomas throws a nice inside leg kick.
Thomas throws a leg kick which misses The Predator's front leg but catches the back leg as The Predator tries to avoid it.
Thomas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but The Predator moves away.
The Predator seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
The Predator throws a hook but Thomas blocks it.
The Predator looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

The Predator cracks Thomas with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Thomas get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Thomas looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The Predator looks to throw the jab but Thomas is out of range.
The Predator misses the jab.
The Predator backing away here, and Thomas unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Thomas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
An attempted straight right counter from The Predator misses the target.

The Predator catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Thomas stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Thomas walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!

Thomas is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Thomas throws a shot from downtown. The Predator moves away and avoids it.
Thomas is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. The Predator doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Thomas crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Thomas's bad books for that mishap!
