Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Junior (ranked 1495 p4p, 2466 weight class) and Tarmo Rajantaka (ranked 199 p4p, 304 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Junior!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tarmo Rajantaka!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rajantaka jabs at Junior's body.
Junior looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rajantaka tries to land a front kick but Junior steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Rajantaka misses with a head kick.
Rajantaka checks a low kick from Junior.
Tarmo Rajantaka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rajantaka buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Rajantaka stuffs the takedown.

Junior closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rajantaka's guard.
Rajantaka keeping moving, preventing Junior from controlling successfully.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Junior is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Rajantaka avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Junior wants to pass the guard but Rajantaka is keeping the position.
Junior seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Rajantaka pushes Junior away with a front kick.
Rajantaka throws a sloppy head kick and Junior moves out of range easily.
Junior appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Junior gets tackled into the cage by Rajantaka. Rajantaka maintains the clinch.

Rajantaka will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Junior up against the cage.

Junior tries to pull guard but Rajantaka forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Junior. That's going to take a lot out of him.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rajantaka creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Junior's defenses.

Rajantaka lands a big knee! That's hurt Junior! Oh, he's all over the place! Rajantaka lands another knee that sends Junior to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
