The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rourke sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rourke flicks out a counter leg kick but Barnes steps away.
Barnes misses with a double jab.
Barnes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rourke as he avoids it easily.

Rourke gets caught flat footed, as Barnes shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Barnes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Barnes is looking to work some ground and pound but Rourke has wrist control.

Barnes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Barnes loads up on a big left hand. Rourke felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Barnes looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Rourke can't hide his disappointment, as Barnes celebrates the victory.

In his post fight interview, Abraham Barnes started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
