Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Sultan with that takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sultan or perhaps it was just good defense by Baller, which made it look bad.
Sultan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Billy Baller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruno Sultan .

Sultan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Baller avoids it really well and circles away.

Baller changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sultan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Baller dives in and grabs Sultan 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sultan pushes down on Baller's head and hops out.

Baller swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Baller keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sultan shoots for a double leg takedown but Baller sprawls well. He's pushed Sultan 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Baller avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Baller darts in and clinches Sultan up against the cage.

Baller gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Sultan regains guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sultan wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Baller wants to get up but he can't break Sultan 's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Baller has closed the distance and engaged Sultan in a clinch.
Baller drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sultan pulls his leg out and moves away.

Sultan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Baller smiles and moves away.
Baller leaves Sultan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Baller plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Baller throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sultan was covering up waiting for the punch and Baller finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Sultan wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Baller manages to pass to side control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Sultan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Baller's waist but Baller gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sultan off to one side.

Sultan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Baller gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
