Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rakin Schmoe (ranked 6725 p4p, 4371 weight class) and Allison Hannah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rakin Schmoe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Allison Hannah!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmoe fails with a takedown attempt.
Schmoe shoots in looking for a takedown. Hannah tries to sprawl out of it but Schmoe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hannah manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hannah instigates a clinch.
Schmoe jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hannah walks away with a smile on his face. Schmoe gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rakin Schmoe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Schmoe fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hannah avoids it really well and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hannah shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hannah showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Schmoe keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Hannah thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Hannah's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Schmoe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hannah on the ground.

Hannah is trying to work for a kimura but Schmoe is defending well.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Hannah passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Schmoe!

It looks like Rakin Schmoe has been cut.
Schmoe is breathing heavily.
Schmoe tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Hannah is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Schmoe can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Hannah is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Schmoe to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Schmoe shrugs it off.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hannah is landing with some decent strikes but Schmoe is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Hannah feints and as Schmoe raises his hands in defense, Hannah changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Schmoe is looking to stand back up but Hannah counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Schmoe.
