The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Der Veer Jr takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Royale lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Van Der Veer Jr has been cut.
Royale lands a head kick. Der Veer Jr smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Royale stuffs the takedown.
Der Veer Jr looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Royale is fending him off so far but Der Veer Jr persists. Nope, Royale circles away and we're back to standing.

No joy there for Royale, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Royale feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Der Veer Jrs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Royale drops Der Veer Jr with a beautiful combination! Der Veer Jr stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Royale is looking for the KO!

Royale steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Der Veer Jr is out on his feet! Royale sets himself and nearly takes Der Veer Jr's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
