The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Selvante shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Colton pinned against the cage. Colton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Selvante drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Colton holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Colton tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Colton sneaks back into half guard.
Selvante not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Colton is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Selvante pulls his head out easily.
Selvante thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Colton's head.

Colton has one foot on Selvante's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Colton gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Selvante counters with a shoot takedown. Colton fights it but they end up in guard.

Selvante gets to his feet - Colton follows without any prompting.
Colton has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Selvante darts in and clinches Colton up against the cage.
Knees in the clinch landing for Colton.
A nice left hand lands by Selvante.

Colton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Selvante tries to clinch there but Colton circles away.
Selvante throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Colton lands a nice leg kick that just misses Selvante's sensitive parts.

Colton gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Colton looks gassed!
Colton with the ground and pound but Selvante uses the opportunity to regain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Colton seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Selvante does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
