Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Patrik Demeter (ranked 5122 p4p, 4946 weight class) and Yrock Shinsaku (ranked 573 p4p, 561 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Patrik Demeter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yrock Shinsaku!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Demeter.
Shinsaku thumps Demeter with a low kick.
Demeter misses with a few strikes there.
Demeter misses with a series of wild punches.
Demeter takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Patrik Demeter has been cut.
Demeter definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Demeter throws a jab but it's blocked by Shinsaku.
Shinsaku feints a counter leg kick.
Demeter tries to bum rush Shinsaku with a series of wild strikes but Shinsaku uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Demeter throws a left and a right that both miss
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Shinsaku thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Demeter if he has to take too many more of those.
Demeter is breathing heavily.
Shinsaku lands a big head kick that sends Demeter tumbling to the mat! Shinsaku takes a step backwards and waves Demeter back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Demeter is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Shinsaku.
Shinsaku lands a leg kick that knocks Demeter off balance momentarily.
Shinsaku throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Demeter crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Yrock Shinsaku!
