Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Giuseppe Bombardini!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juda Juada!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Chris Dean and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juada misses with a double jab.
Juada is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bombardini sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Juada shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Bombardini has one foot on Juada's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Bombardini throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Juda Juada has been cut.
A thudding body kick lands there by Bombardini!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bombardini tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Juada swivels and escapes.
Bombardini lands a nice looking body shot.
Juada looks winded!
Juada tries to clinch but Bombardini moves away
and Bombardini counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bombardini lands a big head kick that sends Juada tumbling to the mat! Bombardini takes a step backwards and waves Juada back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Juada is rocked!
Juada drops his hands momentarily. Bombardini doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Juada staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Juada doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Giuseppe Bombardini!
Giuseppe Bombardini seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
