Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sterk Kreig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sterk Kreig could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Carlos Santana's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santana shoots for a takedown but Kreig saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Santana shoots in and bounces Kreig off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kreig wants to get back to his feet but Santana is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Santana has gone for a leg lock! Kreig slips out almost immediately though and dives into Santana's guard.
Kreig wants to stand and escape but instead Santana has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Santana passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kreig!

Santana gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Santana feints and as Kreig raises his hands in defense, Santana changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Santana stands and throws Kreig's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Kreig is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Santana asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Santana shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kreig but Kreig pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Kreig gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Santana jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Kreig is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Kreig and Santana has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Santana thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Santana tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Santana has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kreig is not content to let Santana control the position.

Santana is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kreig knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Santana is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kreig has escaped the position, nice work there.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Santana thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Kreig is trying to buck Santana off.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Santana is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kreig knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Carlos Santana showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Santana is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Kreig is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Kreig flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Santana anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Kreig and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Santana slips an arm under Kreig chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Santana has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Santana is squeezing on Kreig like an anaconda would it's prey. Kreig fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
