The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freibergs tries to close the distance and clinch up but Diego swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Freibergs throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Diego's waist but Diego gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Freibergs off to one side.

I was talking to Diego's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
