Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Choice Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Williams throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gracie throws a fast counter high kick but Williams manages to duck under it in time.
Gracie misses with a series of wild punches.
Williams instigates a clinch.
Williams turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Williams stands up and beckons Gracie to his feet.
Williams throws a head kick but Gracie moves out of range.
Gracie throws out a counter right but Williams avoids it with no problem.
Williams closes the distance and clinches.
Gracie letting Williams take a breather here.
Williams has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gracie clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Gracie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
The fighters are battling for position here. Gracie manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Williams wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.
Gracie is trying to keep Williams in close.
Gracie is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Williams with a flurry of punches that miss.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Williams has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Gracie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Williams controls the pace.
Williams stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Williams pushes Gracie up against the cage in a clinch.
Williams tightens his grip and picks Gracie up, before dumping him to the ground. Gracie manages to land in guard.
Williams sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Gracie doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Williams paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Gracie - great work!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Choice Gracie!
A very excited looking Choice Gracie rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
