The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gagarin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McScramble half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Yuri Gagarin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gagarin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McScramble circles away quickly and effectively.
Gagarin fails to land with a series of punches.
Gagarin throws a looping overhand right but McScramble ducks down to avoid it.
We've been hearing reports that McScramble has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

McScramble tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McScramble has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

McScramble is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gagarin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
