PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Harris (ranked 24769 p4p, 5544 weight class) and Noah Sleaze (ranked 637 p4p, 530 weight class). Sleaze has chosen Culture Head as his entrance music. Noah Sleaze is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sleaze lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
A right-left combo lands from Sleaze.

Harris misses with a takedown attempt - Sleaze sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Harris closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sleaze to the mat! Sleaze manages to get full guard.

Harris drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Harris jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Sleaze manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Harris is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sleaze gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Sleaze is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Harris is defending well for now.

Sleaze has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Harris uses from the top position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Harris accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

and Harris decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sleaze's guard.

Harris is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Sleaze throws his legs up looking for a submission but Harris uses it to pass to side control.
