The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jukola takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Ville Jukola has been cut.

Jukola has hold of Kurtz's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kurtz manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jukola cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

It looks like Jukola might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Kurtz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Jukola throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kurtz tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jukola is in Kurtz's guard.

Jukola is pushing down on Kurtz's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kurtz is fighting to maintain full guard but Jukola has managed to sneak the leg through.
Jukola is taking a breather. Kurtz says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Jukola decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jukola throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Kurtz has his hands clasped together but Jukola breaks the hold and Kurtz is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Jukola!
