Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jesperson Knudsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Abel Lyager!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyager clinches up with Knudsen and pushes him back against the cage.
Lyager tries to pull guard but Knudsen won't allow it.
Lyager wants to get back to striking at distance but Knudsen won't allow it.
Knudsen is trying to drag Lyager to the mat but Lyager just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Knudsen has Lyager pressed against the cage, preventing Lyager from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Lyager controlling the action here for a moment.
Knudsen tightens his grip and picks Lyager up, before dumping him to the ground. Lyager manages to land in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lyager can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Knudsen controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Knudsen stopping the sweep attempt from Lyager.
Knudsen content to stall in guard here.
Knudsen tries to stand but Lyager is controlling from the bottom.
Knudsen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Knudsen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Lyager stalks Knudsen and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Knudsen's face. Knudsen staggers backwards, shaken.
Lyager rushes Knudsen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Knudsen manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Knudsen preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Lyager stays in close to Knudsen's body and controls the position.
Knudsen is looking to cinch up a triangle. Lyager throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Knudsen's body to avoid the submission. Knudsen has instead reached around Lyager's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Knudsen arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jesperson Knudsen!
