The crowd seem to be enjoying Lightning's choice of entrance music: Rosalita. Reggie Milionaire has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milionaire explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Milionaire stuffs the takedown attempt from Lightning. Lightning gets slowly back to his feet.

Milionaire shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lightning's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like Johnny Lightning has been cut.

Lightning looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Milionaire connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Lightning to the floor! Milionaire dives in looking for the finish!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Milionaire seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Lightning is still in real trouble! Can Milionaire finish him?
Lightning is refusing to be controlled, as Milionaire sits in half guard.

Milionaire is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lightning doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Milionaire.
Lightning seems to have recovered his senses.

Milionaire is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Milionaire is working for a kimura but Lightning is defending it quite comfortably.
Milionaire missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Milionaire looks to land a strike but Lightning avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Milionaire scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Lightning shoots and misses

The strikes coming from Milionaire are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

That has opened up Johnny Lightning's cut even more.

Milionaire is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lightning has escaped the position, nice work there.

Johnny Lightning's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
