Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lu Wai Ping (ranked 1088 p4p, 1656 weight class) and Long Schlong (ranked 130 p4p, 189 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lu Wai Ping!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Long Schlong!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schlong closes the distance looking to clinch
and Wai Ping counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Wai Ping looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Wai Ping tries to keep at a distance but Schlong has taken the fight into the clinch.
Schlong successfully pulls guard.
Schlong has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Wai Ping is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Schlong.
Schlong tries to improve position but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Schlong takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Schlong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wai Ping paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Wai Ping throws a knee to the head but misses.
Schlong jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wai Ping walks away with a smile on his face. Schlong gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Wai Ping throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Wai Ping scores with a jab. Schlong acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Schlong tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wai Ping appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Wai Ping avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Schlong tries to clinch there but Wai Ping circles away.
Schlong dives in and grabs Wai Ping's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wai Ping pushes down on Schlong's head and hops out.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Wai Ping.
Schlong wants to clinch.
Wai Ping jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Wai Ping plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
The fighters circle momentarily. Wai Ping darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Wai Ping throws a jab when Schlong was well out of range.
Schlong has managed to clinch.
Schlong has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wai Ping is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Lu Wai Ping has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Long Schlong.

Wai Ping pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Schlong moves into the clinch.
Schlong pulls Wai Ping into guard.
Schlong is looking for a triangle but Wai Ping pushes his legs off easily.
Schlong has his foot on Wai Ping's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wai Ping works his way back into a safe position though.

Schlong tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Wai Ping misses with a straight right.
And Schlong tries to counter it with a takedown but Wai Ping pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Schlong moves into range and clinches up with Wai Ping.
Schlong has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wai Ping is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
With the fighters up against the cage, Wai Ping throws an elbow but misses.
Wai Ping works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Wai Ping lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Schlong or not.
Schlong avoids the elbow strike from Wai Ping, against the cage.
Schlong fails to pull guard.
Wai Ping is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Schlong can do to turn this around?
Schlong takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wai Ping, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
