Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Julio Regueiro (ranked 1170 p4p, 1916 weight class) and Arjan Bhullar (ranked 159 p4p, 250 weight class). Bhullar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Daniel Cormier - All About That Cake kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 38 - 26 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arjan Bhullar!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bhullar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Regueiro moves away.
Bhullar has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Regueiro scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Bhullar throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bhullar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Regueiro fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Bhullar walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Regueiro stalks Bhullar and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bhullar's face. Bhullar staggers backwards, shaken.

Regueiro has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Regueiro takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Regueiro uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bhullar.
It looked like Regueiro wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bhullar throws a jab but it's blocked by Regueiro.
Regueiro lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Julio Regueiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Regueiro had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bhullar defends it easily.
Regueiro has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bhullar is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Regueiro.

Bhullar is just content to waste time from the top position. Regueiro takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Bhullar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Regueiro has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bhullar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bhullar keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Regueiro's head.

Regueiro looking for a guillotine here but Bhullar defends easily.
Regueiro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bhullar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bhullar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bhullar is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Regueiro has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bhullar is looking to defend but Regueiro has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bhullar! Regueiro pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bhullar taps out and this one is all over!

Julio Regueiro bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
