Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kekot Koket (ranked 24003 p4p, 5712 weight class) and Rylee Mannion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Kekot Koket has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kekot Koket!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rylee Mannion!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Koket.
Mannion dodges the punch combination from Koket.
Koket scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Mannion throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Koket was covering up waiting for the punch and Mannion finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mannion controls from within his opponent's guard.

Mannion drops back looking for a leg! Koket is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Koket manages to kick Mannion off! Mannion jumps back into Koket's guard.
Koket knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mannion on the ground.

Mannion slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Mannion decides to stand up, so the ref orders Koket to his feet.
Koket throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mannion.

Mannion is looking to chop away at Koket's legs.
Koket thows a leg kick but Mannion checks it

and Mannion counters with a single leg into guard. Koket didn't expect that.

Koket wriggles free and stands up.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mannion closes the distance and clinches up with Koket, looking for a takedown. Mannion pushes Koket against the cage but Koket circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Koket misses with a double jab

and Mannion counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Mannion throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Koket works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Koket looking to control.

Mannion gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Koket shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Koket tries a head kick but it misses.
Koket tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mannion paws at him with a jab and circles away.
As Koket backs off Mannion throws a huge counter combo but Koket manages to avoid it all.

Mannion drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mannion is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Mannion with a flurry of punches that miss.
Mannion showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Koket not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mannion is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Mannion gets to his feet - Koket follows without any prompting.
Koket throws a head kick that misses.
Mannion looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Koket tries to close the distance and clinch but Mannion swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mannion steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Koket.
Koket throws a nice looking combination but Mannion bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mannion tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
A clash of legs there as Mannion blocks the low kick.

Mannion shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Koket napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Mannion stands up and beckons Koket to his feet.
Mannion dodges the punch combination from Koket.
Koket seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Koket is breathing heavily.

Mannion decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Kekot Koket will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Koket gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mannion to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Mannion is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Let's hope that Mannion has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Mannion won't allow Koket to sweep him here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Koket lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Mannion sprawling to the canvas. Koket follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Mannion hang on?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mannion has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Koket is working away from the top position though.
Mannion is still in real trouble! Can Koket finish him?

Koket thows a huge punch but Mannion dodges it nicely.

Mannion wants to get back to his feet but Koket is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Mannion bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Koket's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mannion stands and throws Koket's legs to the side, diving into side control.
