Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Manco Unknown (ranked 381 p4p, 1049 weight class) and Kotaro Kikuta (ranked 51 p4p, 138 weight class). Unknown comes into the arena with Ennio Morricone blaring out of the sound system. Kotaro Kikuta has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kikuta throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Unknown to counter with a crisp jab.
Unknown misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kikuta.
Unknown misses with a body kick.
Unknown throws a hook but Kikuta avoids it easily.
Unknown has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kikuta finds it's way round the side to connect with Unknown's head.
Kikuta takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Unknown listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Unknown scores with a jab.
A slow jab from Kikuta misses its intended target.
Kikuta lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Unknown circles away quickly and effectively.

Kikuta cracks Unknown with an uppercut from hell and Unknown crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Kikuta's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Unknown is rocked!

It looks like Manco Unknown has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kikuta stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Unknown has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Kikuta manages to get his head free but now Unknown has transitioned to an armbar! Kikuta grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Unknown! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
