The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stephen misses with a series of wild punches.
Beebee fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Stephen is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Beebee.

Stephen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Beebee sprawls well initially but Stephen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Beebee is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stephen pulls his head out easily.
Stephen slows the pace down in half guard.

Stephen decides to stand up.
Stephen misses with a head kick.

Beebee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stephen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Beebee somewhat.

Beebee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Stephen manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Stephen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Beebee napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Beebee is breathing heavily.
Stephen is chipping away with strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Beebee on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Beebee is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Stephen has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Bee Beebee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stephen looking to score a takedown here. Beebee is defending well but Stephen drives through and ends up in Beebee's guard.

Beebee has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stephen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Stephen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stephen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Stephen stands up from Beebee's guard - Stephen perhaps looking for a knockout.

Stephen has taken the fight to the clinch.

Stephen has hold of one of Beebee's legs. Beebee is fighting the takedown attempt but Stephen gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Stephen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
