The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sluggo lands the left hand.

It looks like Vladimir Malianenko has been cut.
Sluggo checks a leg kick nicely.
Malianenko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sluggo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sluggo drops Malianenko with a left and a right! Oh, Malianenko is hurt - Sluggo dives into side control looking to finish!

Malianenko is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sluggo decides to stand back up.
Malianenko is still on wobbly legs! Can Sluggo finish him?
Malianenko wants to clinch.
Malianenko seems to have recovered his senses.
Malianenko just misses with a punch to the body.
Sluggo catches Malianenko napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Malianenko to the canvas!

That has opened up Vladimir Malianenko's cut even more.
