Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Y Gotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremiah Weed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Weed's choice of entrance music: Rob Zombie - Superbeast. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weed gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Jeremiah Weed has been cut.
Weed misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Y Gotti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Weed changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gotti tries to avoid it but Weed manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gotti to the ground. Gotti escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Weed gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Weed blocks a leg kick.
Weed has managed to clinch.

Weed tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Weed tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Weed is looking to control Gotti's arms but Gotti gets an underhook and turns him. Now Weed has his back to the cage.

Weed tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Weed takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Gotti is pressed up against the cage. Weed has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gotti down to the mat. Gotti avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Weed doesn't manage to clinch there - Gotti circles away.

Weed has a takedown stuffed.

Nice combo by Gotti! Oh, that's hurt him - Weed falls to the canvas and Gotti follows him into side control.

Well, if Gotti is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Weed has a hand on Gotti's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Gotti takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Weed tries to improve his position but instead Gotti has taken his back!
A bit of a pause in the action here. Gotti controlling the positon.
Gotti is hanging on to Weed's back as he tries to escape.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Weed wants to control his opponent's hands but Gotti gets his hands free.
Weed turns into Gotti and is now in his guard.
Gotti is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Weed wants to pass the guard but Gotti is keeping the position.

That's time! Gotti's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Weed.
Weed sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Gotti is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Gotti is pulling down on Weed's head. It's preventing any offense from Weed, at least for the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Gotti tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Weed was well out of range. Poor timing from Gotti.

Gotti throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Weed shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Gotti throws a sloppy head kick and Weed moves out of range easily.
Weed uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gotti.
Weed closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gotti to the mat! Gotti manages to get full guard.

Weed throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gotti works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Weed slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Gotti on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gotti tries to get out of the position.

Gotti rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Weed moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Weed looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Weed tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gotti swivels and escapes.
Gotti connects with a single shot there.
Gotti throws a right and a left that Weed avoids nicely.
Weed shoots in and bounces Gotti off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Weed trying to control the position from guard on top but Gotti is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

I think Weed has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
